AIMS

To be able to have an understanding of Basic Life Support

Course Criteria - Duration 3hrs

By the end of this course you will:

·        Understand the role of a First Aider

·        Know how to conduct a Primary Survey

·        Know how to perform CPR

·        Know how to use an AED

·        Know how to deal with breathing casualties

·        Know how to deal with choking causalties

·        Know how to put a casualty into the Recovery  Position

·        Know what to do in the event of a seizure

·        Know how to provide treament for Breaks & Burns

·        Know how to provide treatment for severe bleeding
